About Us

Linger Lodge is a classic Old Florida-style RV Park and restaurant in Bradenton, on the Northern bank of the Braden River.

The Lodge is known for its authentic Old Florida charm and cozy riverside atmosphere. Located right on the river, Linger Lodge is surrounded by nature, home to some beautifully authentic Floridan vistas and no shortage of alligators, turtles, and other wildlife.

Restaurant

The Linger Lodge Restaurant & Bar is a quirky yet charming restaurant with a scenic view of the Braden River.
A family favorite, it serves classic Southern U.S. cuisine.

The restaurant’s walls are adorned with a range of taxidermied creatures, including some fictional creations from the Lodge’s previous owner, like the Jackalope, the Alaskan Fur Fish and the Walking Catfish. The unique taxidermied decor has turned the restaurant into a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

The restaurant serves everything you’d expect from a classic Southern diner and more, from burgers and sandwiches to barbecued meats and fried seafood. Their more unusual dishes include fried “alligator bites” and fresh frog legs. The bar sports unique cocktails like the “Linger Lizard”, “Swamp Water”, and the “River Otter”.  A favourite among the guests is the special Linger Lodge Bloody Mary.

RV Park

The Linger Lodge RV Park is a waterfront RV campground, home to 144 RV spaces for short- and long-term stays. You can stay with us for up to 6 months.

Many of the RV spaces are located in the shade of palm trees and live oak canopies, protected from the hot Florida sun.

The RV park aims to evoke peace and calm for a tranquil and relaxing vacation, as well as a real sense of community for those looking to stay here longer term.

This sense of community and tranquility makes for a perfect destination for both families and retirees looking for a unique experience or just to relax in a quintessentially Floridian natural environment.
